Michael grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. His personal motto is “Everyone is my neighbor.” He first became interested in personal finance when he had his own paper route and completed the Personal Management merit badge, which taught him how to create a budget. After becoming an Eagle Scout and serving as a Spanish-speaking missionary in Argentina for two years, he met his amazing, beautiful, and talented wife, Sarah, while attending Brigham Young University, where he studied business, the humanities, …and Sarah. The Babcocks live in Burleson, TX with their three children and their life-loving golden retriever.
Faith, family, and community are very important to Michael. He enjoys working with people who value decency and goodness and who appreciate others’ unique beliefs and backgrounds. He tries to live by wise words and ideas wherever he can find them; for him, these include The Four-Way Test (Rotary), and the teachings of Jesus Christ. He loves serving the community and the world through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Burleson Rotary Club, and the Burleson Lions Club.
